HI-700 Ammonia Low Range Checker®HC Colorimeter (0.00 to 3.00 ppm)

The Hanna Instruments HI-700 Ammonia Low Range Checker®HC is a simple, accurate and cost-effective handheld colorimeter for measuring low ranges of ammonia in fresh water. Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, the HI-700 delivers quick results in four easy steps and is dedicated to a single parameter for straightforward, reliable operation. Its small palm-sized design makes it ideal for use in the field, in the laboratory or at the aquarium.

The HI-700 uses an adaptation of the ASTM Manual of Water and Environmental Technology, D1426-92, Nessler method. The reaction between ammonia and reagents produces a yellow tint in the sample which the Checker®HC measures accurately. The unit is supplied with sample cuvettes, a starter pack of 25 ammonia LR reagent tests (HI-700-25), a battery, instruction manual and quick start guide.
