EXPEL-C Soot Cleaner Tubes

Expel 'C' is for the cleaning & removing of carbon scale & soot. Expel 'C' Cleans the combustion zone & flues of pressure jet oil, blown gas & closed combustion solid fuel boilers & heaters.

Application

To effectively use Expel 'C' in your appliance, it is advised to place it deep inside the chamber. The tubes will then handle the rest of the process automatically. Afterwards, simply brush or vacuum any scale or carbon residue that may have accumulated, and the task will be completed.

In cases where boilers and heaters are heavily soiled, it is recommended to repeat the treatment within three days. It is crucial to ensure that the appliance reaches a maximum combustion chamber temperature, with a minimum requirement of 350°C for Expel 'C' to function optimally.

Please note that Expel 'C' is designed specifically for closed combustion room heaters and pressure jet oil or blown gas boilers. When used in closed combustion room heaters, Expel 'C' serves as an excellent chimney cleaner.

Dosage

For installations with up to 100,000 BTUs/hr, a single tube of Expel 'C' will suffice. However, larger installations up to 400,000 BTUs/hr will require two tubes. The number of tubes needed depends on the size of the installation. Here are some guidelines to consider:

• For installations ranging from 0 to 3 million BTUs/hr, it is recommended to add one extra tube for every 250,000 BTUs.
• For installations between 3 and 5 million BTUs/hr, start with 12 tubes and add one extra tube for every 500,000 BTUs.
• For installations exceeding 5 million BTUs/hr, begin with 16 tubes and add one extra tube for every 1,000,000 BTUs.

In industrial applications, it is advisable to perform the treatment every four to eight weeks. This regular maintenance schedule helps ensure optimal performance.
