Gestra NRR 2-50 Valve Control & Alarm
(Low Or High) Level Switch 24VDC
The level controller NRR 2-50, when used in conjunction with level electrodes NRG 2.-.. and level transmitter NRGT 26-1 is a limit switch and Water Level-Controller, (for example) in steam boilers, Pressurised hot-water installations as well as condensate and feedwater tanks. The level controller indicates when the preset water level limit MIN or MAX is reached and opens or closes the control valve accordingly.

Designed for use with level electrodes NRG 21-.. and NRG 26-21 as well as the level transmitter NRGT 26-1.

The level controller NRR 2-50 uses the level-dependent voltage signal emitted by the level electrodes NRG 2..-.. or the level-dependent current signal emitted by the level transmitter NRGT 26-1. Input signals are standardised by the controller to 0 and 100 % of the boiler measuring range and indicated as actual value by the seven-segment LED display.

Level controller NRR 2-50: The level controller works alongside an electrically actuated control valve as a three-position stepping controller with proportional-plus integral control action (PI controller). In the event of a deviation from the set point, the electrical actuator is controlled by two output contacts and two flashing LEDs indicating whether the control valve opens or closes.

Configuration options for the controller are for fill or discharge control.

An additional output contact indicates when the MIN or MAX water level is reached (the desired function is switch selectable). After the de-energising delay has elapsed, the output contact switches over the LED for MIN or MAX illuminates.

When reaching the MIN or MAX water level, the MIN or MAX output contact is switched over in the level controller after the de-energising delay illuminating the MIN or MAX LED.

Level controller NRR 2-51: Any faults or malfunctions in the level electrode, the level transmitter, the electrical connection or the settings will be indicated as an error code by the seven-segment LED display. A MIN and MAX alarm triggers in the event of a malfunction

The Rotary Dial allows parameter settings of the level controller. It also allows the simulation of a MIN/MAX alarm with the same method.
